I’ve been reading through this very very interesting book. Author Chris Anderson is the editor of Wired Magazine and he shares what inspired him at an early age to just create and how his grandfather did too but was so limited to get ideas to market compared to “makers” today. I adore the encouragement and ideas he brings especially as it inspires concepts we can use in education to inspire new “makers” and creators. 3-D printers are not necessarily new, but thinking them as simply in their “dot matrix” stage right now only opens the imagination and begs you to help create the future!

This New Industrial Revolution is already happening. Customizing and ever creating for individual needs will indeed drive a fun and interesting part of the economy. Alas, there are about a hundred different topics from this one book we could chat about. Let me know if you pick this up or already have, would love to hear your thoughts!
